The fabrics we use for Fish Monkey gloves feature a much finer weave that better blocks the sun. Yes, this fabric is a bit more expensive but the sun protection is significantly better and well worth the additional cost, especially when one considers that the treatments that others rely on for much of the sun protection in their garments, wears off, especially with washing. I got these and the stubbys and I love them. They give me added protection from the suns rays. I love the monkey in the palm of my hand. They have a good grip on my fishing pole. I can grab braided line and not worry about cutting my hand.

Tightening braided fishing line by wrapping around your hands used to be painful and risked line cuts. Fish Monkey customer service is exceptional, and a shipping error was corrected, and merchandise was shipped overnight so that I could have it for my scheduled departure. Hey I love these gloves. They're my second pair (lost the first, had em for two years). My only bummer was that I paid $40 to order them directly from you online but then saw them the next week at Bass Pro for $28. (Shipping, duh) Saw you guys at iCast this year, such great products!
